A True Alberta Rut Moose Hunt for Rifle and Archery Hunters
If you've dreamed of calling a mature Alberta bull into close range, RK Hunts offers one of the most exciting wilderness moose hunts you'll ever experience.
Our hunt takes place during the peak of the rut, when mature bulls are actively responding to calls and searching for cows. Whether you carry a rifle or a bow, our goal is the same—to put you within range of a mature bull and give you a genuine opportunity to succeed.
What You Can Expect
Our hunters can realistically expect opportunities at 30-inch or larger bull moose, with several bulls in the mid-40-inch to mid-50-inch class harvested each season. We don't guarantee antler size, but our hunting area consistently produces quality mature bulls.
Our historical success rate is 70–80%, and it's uncommon for a hunter to finish the hunt without at least one quality opportunity. In most cases where a tag isn't filled, it's the result of a missed or poor shot, or the occasional stretch of exceptionally difficult weather.
Built for Bowhunters
This hunt is extremely archery friendly.
During the rut, we spend countless hours calling bulls into close range. Many encounters happen well inside normal bow range, creating an exciting, up-close hunting experience that every bowhunter dreams about. Rutting bulls are highly responsive to calling when conditions are right, making this one of the most thrilling ways to hunt moose. Calling during the rut is one of the most effective ways to bring bulls into archery range.
For Rifle Hunters
Most shot opportunities are inside 200 yards, allowing for comfortable, ethical shots without long-range shooting.

Our guides hunt from daylight until dark. We scout, call, glass, adjust our strategy to changing conditions, and simply outwork the competition. Every hunter is treated as if they're our only hunter because your success matters to us.
